3. Early Childhood Care And Education – A Perspective
There is wide diversity in terms of curriculum, infrastructure, financial allocations, staff quality, etc. This diversity is evident not only programme-wise, but also within the same programme from one region to another. In the present scenario, parents, policy makers, educationists, paediatricians, health departments, child welfare departments, and the media, all need to get together to address the problems of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).
